My best friend and I went out to lunch yesterday afternoon to our favorite restaurant, The Macaroni Grill -- if any asks me how one grills macaroni once more... We always get the same thing when we go there, that's why it's our favorite: Italian sodas (this time we tried two new ones), Chicken Caesar Calzonetto, and the best bread ever known to man -- it's the complimentary appetizer, of course! This visit was special because my friend is entering one of the training centers for an LDS mission and will leave the country for Rostow, Russia in late summer. I won't see her for 18 months! Our visit yesterday was our last lunch for some time. The most remarkable thing about lunch yesterday, the aspect that will make it a bit more memorable was our server, Ted. He was the best that we have had anywhere. He was funny and witty and made our experience delightful -- well besides the obvious delight D and I take in each other's company! We left him such an enormous tip! it literally was 50%! But it was so worth it. The guy even gave us each a full loaf of that wonderful bread while he packed up our yummy leftovers!

Sigh, I'm really going to miss her!
