I intend to develop in many directions

This being the last day of the year, I feel as if I should take some time to reflect and post something meaningful and insightful about myself and the year I've experienced. Especially since I've been quite spacy and absent on LJ (and Facebook) over the year. Yet I find I have very little to say that won't come across as whiny and pathetic. Happy moments are much more worth dwelling on:

* visiting family and friends in and out of state
* hearing my youngest nephew's true voice
* developing friendships
* moving out on my own (the action itself, the complex has issues that drive me insane)
* officially finishing school

There's a bit that I'm looking to change in the new year: residence and job being at the forefront. I have good, hopeful feelings about the upcoming year. The biggest challenge will be keeping myself motivated.
